14 People Arrested At FAMILY VALUES Concert In Winsconsin
August 30, 2006Janesville, Wisconsin's The Janesville Gazette reports that the Walworth County Sheriff's Department patrol division and drug unit made a combined 14 criminal arrests at Saturday's (August 26) Family Values Tour concert at Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, WI.
Three were arrested for resisting arrest, and five for possession of marijuana and two for disorderly conduct. Other arrests included a probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine and an outstanding warrant.
More than 120 tickets were handed out, including 20 for underage drinking and 18 for speeding. The drug unit ticketed 65 for possessing marijuana.
About 15,000 people attended the all-day music festival, which featured KORN and the DEFTONES as the headlining acts.
The final Alpine Valley concert of the season, set for Saturday, Oct. 7, will feature AEROSMITH and MÖTLEY CRÜE.
